i received a room with a view. i could watch gondolas pass by from my room. the location is very close to san marco square. breakfast was plentiful with great attention to detail.

the room seemed smaller than expected. the air conditioning did not seem to work well. it was hot in the room.

I loved the location. It's close to everything. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! The hotel rooms are beautiful. I appreciated the complimentary Lavazza blue espresso machine in the room. Getting to the hotel from the airport was super easy because the boat drops you right at its doorstep.

The room felt a little small. The bathroom door and the main door couldn't open simultaneously. I would not recommend that particular penthouse room.

The staff all speak English. They are super nice and friendly. Federico provided excellent service and made great espresso martinis. I am thankful for this kind and pleasant staff.

breakfast featured a great variety. the employees were consistently kind (a nice touch!). fresh cappuccinos rivaled some i tasted during my two weeks exploring italy. also, we were close to all main attractions, allowing convenient breaks.

the air conditioning system didn't allow temperature adjustments. my room's highest temperature reached 79f/26c. i found it hard to get a comfortable temperature.

the breakfast service was a mess. the staff seemed overwhelmed and rushed, unable to keep up with the number of guests. food ran out quickly, leaving little for latecomers. i didn't even bother with breakfast for two days because of this disorganization. i found it completely unacceptable.
